Wire Brush Deburring

After tubes have been saw cut, they go through Wire Brush Deburring. When a tube is cut, there are usually small imperfections and burrs that remain where the cut was performed. These can present a number of issues, ranging from a poor fit into other components or sharp edges that could cut and harm anyone handling the tubes. Our process smooths out any edges on the inner and outer diameters of the tubing and removes these sharp edges and imperfections. Wire brush deburring is an inexpensive and effective method in minimizing these concerns.

When tubes are deburred, they tend to fit quickly and precisely into whatever component they are being attached to. Assembly time and costs are therefore brought down when the parts fit perfectly the first time. Deburring also does not change the dimensions of the tube. Our brushes can be used on tubes of nearly all shapes, sizes, and types. As a result, we have the flexibility to utilize wire brushes on multiple tube configurations.

Chamfering

Very similar to deburring, Chamfering is the process of creating a transitional edge at the end of a tube. Much like deburring, chamfering removes the sharp edges and burrs from a piece of cut tubing, allowing for safer handling and ease of use in whatever application the tubing is being used for.

Metal Parts Rinsing

Metal Parts and Tube Rinsing is the last step in our Tube Finishing Services. It is a straightforward process in which mineral spirits are sprayed over the tubes to aid in the removal of any loose debris that may have occurred during the cutting, chamfering, and deburring phases. It is a simple method that has proven to highly be effective, increasing efficiency and decreasing cost.
